1. Çerez nedir
Çerez (cookie), bir siteyi ziyaret ettiğinizde tarayıcınıza kaydedilen küçük bir metin dosyasıdır. Site sizi tekrar ziyaret ettiğinizde bu dosyayı okur.
Çerezlerin yanı sıra tarayıcınızın yerel depolamasını (localStorage) da kullanıyoruz. Yerel depolama çerez değildir; bölüm 3.2'de ayrıca anlatıyoruz. Piksel etiketi, izleme kodu ve reklam etiketi kullanmıyoruz.
2. Çerezleri neden kullanıyoruz
İki nedenle:
- Oturumunuzu açık tutmak — giriş yaptıktan sonra her sayfada tekrar şifre sormamak için.
- Dil tercihinizi hatırlamak — Türkçe mi İngilizce mi seçtiğinizi bir sonraki ziyarette bilmek için.
Başka bir nedenle çerez yazmıyoruz.
Analitik çerez kullanmıyoruz. Reklam çerezi kullanmıyoruz. Sizi başka sitelerde takip eden reklam ağlarına veri göndermiyoruz. Sitede üçüncü taraf çerezi de yok (bölüm 4).
3. Çerez kategorileri
3.1 Zorunlu çerezler
Site olmadan çalışamaz. Bu çerezler için onay istemiyoruz, çünkü sizin talep ettiğiniz hizmetin sunulması için teknik olarak zorunludurlar.
Hepsi birinci taraf çerezidir, yani optiwisdom.com alan adına aittir.

Listede olmayan iki şeyi de söyleyelim:
- Yük dengeleme çerezi yok — tek bir sunucu üzerinde çalışıyoruz.
- Çerez tercih kaydı yok — onay penceresi göstermiyoruz, dolayısıyla saklanacak bir tercih de yok (bölüm 5.1).
3.2 İşlevsel çerezler
Siteyi kullanışlı hâle getirir ama olmadan da site çalışır.

Tek işlevsel çerezimiz bu. Tema, kaldığınız ders veya video oynatıcı ayarları için çerez yazmıyoruz.
Bu çerezi yalnızca siz dil seçtiğinizde yazıyoruz. Kendi eyleminizle verdiğiniz bir tercih olduğu için ayrı onay aranmıyor (ePrivacy Direktifi md. 5/3 istisnası, KVKK md. 5/2-c). İstemezseniz tarayıcınızdan silebilirsiniz (bölüm 5.2).
Çerez olmayan yerel depolama (localStorage)
Bazı bilgileri çerez yerine tarayıcınızın yerel depolamasında tutuyoruz. Bunlar çerez değildir: isteklerle sunucuya kendiliğinden gitmezler, yalnızca sayfa onları okuduğunda kullanılırlar. Tarayıcınızda kalırlar.

Tarayıcı ayarlarınızdan site verilerini temizlediğinizde bunlar da silinir.
3.3 Analitik çerezler
Analitik çerez kullanmıyoruz. Kurulu bir analitik aracı, piksel veya izleme kodu yok.
Ölçüm yapmamız gerektiğinde bunu sunucu günlükleri üzerinden toplu olarak yapıyoruz: tarayıcınıza çerez yazılmıyor, tek tek kullanıcı izlenmiyor. Amacımız hangi dersin işe yaramadığını görmek, sizi takip etmek değil.
İleride bir analitik araç kullanırsak bu politika güncellenir ve önceden onayınız istenir (bölüm 5.1).
3.4 Reklam ve pazarlama çerezleri
Kullanmıyoruz. İleride kullanılırsa bu politika güncellenir ve ayrıca onayınız istenir.
3.5 Eski bir çerez: pll_language
Tarayıcınızda pll_language adlı bir çerez görebilirsiniz. Bu, sitenin eski WordPress sürümünde kullanılan Polylang eklentisinden kalmıştır. Yeni site onu yazmıyor, okumuyor ve kullanmıyor. Tarayıcınızdan silebilirsiniz; silmek siteyi etkilemez.
4. Üçüncü taraf çerezleri
optiwisdom.com üzerinde üçüncü taraf çerezi yok. Yukarıda sayılan çerezlerin hepsi birinci taraf, yani kendi alan adımıza ait.

5. Çerezleri nasıl kontrol edersiniz
5.1 Site içinden: çerez tercih penceresi yok
Siteye girdiğinizde çerez onay penceresi görmezsiniz. Göstermiyoruz, çünkü yazdığımız her çerez ya zorunlu (bölüm 3.1) ya da sizin kendi seçtiğiniz dil tercihi (bölüm 3.2). ePrivacy Direktifi md. 5/3 ve KVKK md. 5/2-c bu iki grubu onaydan muaf tutuyor.
Olmayan bir mekanizmayı anlatmamak için açıkça yazıyoruz: sayfa altında "Çerez tercihleri" bağlantısı da yok, çünkü yönetilecek bir onay yok.
İleride analitik ya da reklam çerezi eklersek, o çerezler yazılmadan önce bir onay penceresi gelir ve bu politika güncellenir.
Dil çerezini (ow_loc) istediğiniz zaman tarayıcınızdan silebilirsiniz; site çalışmaya devam eder, yalnızca dil seçiminizi yeniden yapmanız gerekir.
5.2 Tarayıcınızdan
Tarayıcı ayarlarından tüm çerezleri silebilir veya engelleyebilirsiniz:
- Chrome: Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve güvenlik → Üçüncü taraf çerezler
- Safari: Ayarlar → Gizlilik
- Firefox: Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve Güvenlik
- Edge: Ayarlar → Çerezler ve site izinleri
Dikkat: Zorunlu çerezleri engellerseniz giriş yapamaz, dersleri takip edemezsiniz. Site beklendiği gibi çalışmaz.
6. Hukuki dayanak
- Zorunlu çerezler (3.1): Sizin açıkça talep ettiğiniz hizmetin sunulması için gereklidir. Onay aranmaz (KVKK md. 5/2-c ve md. 5/2-f; GDPR md. 6/1-b ve 6/1-f; ePrivacy Direktifi md. 5/3 istisnası).
- Dil çerezi (3.2): Sizin kendi seçiminizi uygulamak için yazılır ve talep ettiğiniz hizmetin parçasıdır; ayrı onay aranmaz (KVKK md. 5/2-c; ePrivacy Direktifi md. 5/3 istisnası).
- Analitik ve reklam çerezleri: Kullanmıyoruz. Kullanmaya başlarsak açık rızanıza dayanacak, rıza alınmadan yazılmayacak ve bunun için bir onay penceresi eklenecek (KVKK md. 5/1; GDPR md. 6/1-a; ePrivacy Direktifi md. 5/3).

7. Değişiklikler
Bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz. Yeni bir çerez eklersek veya yeni bir üçüncü taraf hizmeti kullanmaya başlarsak:
- Sayfanın üstündeki yürürlük tarihi ve sürüm numarası değişir,
- Eklenen çerez zorunlu ya da dil tercihi gibi onaydan muaf bir çerez değilse, yazılmadan önce onayınız istenir; bunun için siteye bir çerez tercih penceresi eklenir (bölüm 5.1).

1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a site. The site reads this file when you visit it again.
In addition to cookies we also use your browser's local storage (localStorage). Local storage is not a cookie; we describe it separately in section 3.2. We do not use pixel tags, tracking scripts or advertising tags.
2. Why we use cookies
For two reasons:
- To keep your session open — so that you are not asked for your password again on every page after you log in.
- To remember your language preference — so that we know on your next visit whether you chose Turkish or English.
We do not set cookies for any other reason.
We do not use analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not send data to advertising networks that track you across other sites. There are no third-party cookies on the site either (section 4).
3. Cookie categories
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
The site cannot work without them. We do not ask for consent for these cookies, because they are technically required in order to provide the service you have requested.
All of them are first-party cookies, that is, they belong to the optiwisdom.com domain.

Let us also state the two things that are not on the list:
- There is no load-balancing cookie — we run on a single server.
- There is no cookie preference record — we do not show a consent window, so there is no preference to store (section 5.1).
3.2 Functional cookies
They make the site convenient to use, but the site works without them as well.

This is our only functional cookie. We do not set cookies for the theme, for the lesson you left off at, or for video player settings.
We write this cookie only when you choose a language. Because it is a preference you gave through your own action, no separate consent is sought (the exception in Art. 5/3 of the ePrivacy Directive, KVKK Art. 5/2-c). If you do not want it, you can delete it from your browser (section 5.2).
Local storage, which is not a cookie
We keep some information in your browser's local storage instead of in a cookie. These are not cookies: they are not sent to the server on their own along with requests, they are used only when the page reads them. They stay in your browser.

When you clear site data from your browser settings, these are deleted as well.
3.3 Analytics cookies
We do not use analytics cookies. There is no analytics tool, pixel or tracking script installed.
When we need to measure something, we do it in aggregate from the server logs: no cookie is written to your browser and no individual user is tracked. Our aim is to see which lesson is not working, not to follow you.
If we use an analytics tool in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested beforehand (section 5.1).
3.4 Advertising and marketing cookies
We do not use them. If they are used in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will additionally be requested.
3.5 An old cookie: pll_language
You may see a cookie named pll_language in your browser. It is left over from the Polylang plugin used on the old WordPress version of the site. The new site does not write it, does not read it and does not use it. You can delete it from your browser; deleting it does not affect the site.
4. Third-party cookies
There are no third-party cookies on optiwisdom.com. All of the cookies listed above are first-party, that is, they belong to our own domain.

5. How you can control cookies
5.1 From within the site: there is no cookie preference window
You will not see a cookie consent window when you enter the site. We do not show one, because every cookie we write is either strictly necessary (section 3.1) or the language preference you chose yourself (section 3.2). Art. 5/3 of the ePrivacy Directive and KVKK Art. 5/2-c exempt these two groups from consent.
So as not to describe a mechanism that does not exist, we say it plainly: there is no "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page either, because there is no consent to manage.
If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, a consent window will appear before those cookies are written, and this policy will be updated.
You can delete the language cookie (ow_loc) from your browser at any time; the site keeps working, you will only have to choose your language again.
5.2 From your browser
You can delete or block all cookies from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Warning: If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to log in or follow the lessons. The site will not work as expected.
6. Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies (3.1): They are required in order to provide the service you have expressly requested. No consent is sought (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and Art. 5/2-f; GDPR Art. 6/1-b and 6/1-f; the exception in Art. 5/3 of the ePrivacy Directive).
- The language cookie (3.2): It is written in order to carry out the choice you made yourself and is part of the service you requested; no separate consent is sought (KVKK Art. 5/2-c; the exception in Art. 5/3 of the ePrivacy Directive).
- Analytics and advertising cookies: We do not use them. If we start using them, they will be based on your explicit consent, they will not be written before consent is obtained, and a consent window will be added for that purpose (KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 6/1-a; ePrivacy Directive Art. 5/3).

7. Changes
We may update this policy. If we add a new cookie or start using a new third-party service:
- The effective date and version number at the top of the page will change,
- If the added cookie is not one that is exempt from consent, such as a strictly necessary cookie or the language preference, your consent will be requested before it is written; a cookie preference window will be added to the site for that purpose (section 5.1).
